Target
Orbit's design target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the accessibility requirements applicable to EU e-commerce services. Accessibility is included in component, responsive, colour-contrast, form-label, focus, and semantic-navigation reviews.
Current support
- Semantic headings, navigation landmarks, labels, tables, and status text.
- Keyboard-operable links, forms, configuration controls, and expandable FAQ items.
- Responsive layouts for mobile and desktop and text that can be zoomed.
- Status information conveyed with text as well as colour.
- Reduced reliance on decorative images; interface previews use accessible labels.
Known limitations
The beta has not yet completed an independent accessibility audit. Dense trading tables may require horizontal scrolling on small screens, live chart SVGs have summary labels rather than full data-table equivalents, and third-party Stripe, Google, Binance, and Bybit pages are outside Orbit's control.
Feedback and alternatives
If a page or task is inaccessible, contact the operator with the page, device, browser, assistive technology, and the format or alternative needed. A dedicated working accessibility contact and response process must be confirmed before commercial launch.
Assessment
This statement is based on internal review and responsive browser testing. A documented keyboard/screen-reader audit and periodic re-testing must be completed before live launch and after material interface changes.
